SLATED was thrilled when Cáis, the Irish Cheesemakers, returned to us in 2024 to design their prestigious Irish cheese awards 2024, once again. Creating awards for Ireland’s finest cheesemakers is more than a project—it’s a celebration of craft, tradition, and excellence that we hold close to our hearts.

Each piece we design is a tribute to the artistry that Cáis represents. Handcrafted from rich, natural slate, these awards mirror the authenticity and dedication that define Irish cheesemaking. To have our work honour such exceptional craftsmanship is a privilege, and we’re deeply proud to be part of this tradition once more.

Lucinda O’Sullivan of the Sunday Independent is the most wonderful champion of Irish Food and people within the industry. Due to Covid 19 Lucinda developed a new column Foodies Fight Back to help support SME as they pivoted their businesses and tried to adapt to the new way of doing business.
